This is In Ten Photos, a weekly photography newsletter by Samuel Tegge.

Like all good things in life, this walk comes to an end. But no walk is complete without a welcoming party. We found our man at the intersection of View Place, Castle Street, and Culduthel Road, beneath the chainlink ramparts of the Inverness Castle. His name was Mike, there’s always a Mike. He shook our hands and took our picture, regaled us with stories of his walking and what brought him to Inverness, paella and a woman. When he finished, Mike turned on his heels and sauntered down the street. And like a mirage, he disappeared, never to be seen again.

If you made it this far, please consider forwarding this to one friend who you think might think this is kind of rad.

This week was no less busy, but I slayed my procrastination demons and got the thing done, mostly. On May 1, I will send the first edition of my monthly newsletter, One Thousand Words (OTW). One Thousand Words will be a monthly email with one photo and an essay of 1,000 words or less, inspired by or tied to the photo in some way. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, you can check out the site and sign up here.

Have a wonderful week!

Cheers,

S
