This is In Ten Photos, a weekly photography newsletter by Samuel Tegge. This one is comes to you from the Salt River Valley, where monsoon and haboob (dust storms) season is in full swing. Monsoon season = haboobs , thunder, lightning, and a wee bit of rain.
This week we explore the lava fields of Leirhnúkur, noxious, rugged, and remote. The only thing more breathtaking than the scenery was breathing the sulphuric gas (think rotten eggs).
If you like what you see, check out the archive. If now you smell rotten eggs, consider signing up and checking your gas lines.

P.S. If you made it this far, you really should sign up. While you’re at it, hit reply. Let me know what you think. Have a wonderful week. Cheers!
